A brief historic moment at the start of the 20th century has made Balcic part of Romania's frontiers. For several decades, landscape beauty has turned Balcic into a vast creative studio for visual artists.

The Balcic. Tenha-Juvah CD-ROM is a recollection of the 1913–1940 period, a recollection illustrated with period photographs, paintings and testimonials from the contemporary press. New photographs and video footage complete period photographs.

A separate chapter is dedicated to Queen Marie and the Balcic architectural ensemble. Nearby the Sea, under the continuous cadence of the waves, the Queen wished to erect the small Oriental-style pavilion Tenha-Juvah – The Solitary Nest.

Un scurt moment istoric la început de secol XX a făcut ca Balcic să fie parte din hotarele României. Câteva decenii, frumuseţea peisagistică a transformat Balcicul într-un vast atelier de creaţie pentru artiştii plastici.

CD-ul Balcic. Tenha-Juvah este o evocare a perioadei 1913–1940, o evocare ilustrată cu fotografii de epocă, picturi şi mărturii apărute în presa vremii. Fotografii noi şi secvenţe video completează imaginile de epocă.

Un capitol distinct este dedicat Reginei Maria şi ansamblului regal de la Balcic. În apropierea Mării, sub cadenţa nesfârşită a valurilor, Regina a dorit să ridice micul pavilion în stil oriental Tenha-Juvah – Cuibul Singuratec.
