After leaving Borşa, with my mind drifting between thoughts of the wooden church and the misty mountain drive, I came to a stop at a gate. There was no one around, not a sound, and I thought impatiently "Great, a gate is stuck down. So I'm going to sit out here, a law abiding sucker, all afternoon!" Presently some more people pulled up and stopped. At least I could be a fool with someone else. Then, all of a sudden and without warning, this locomotive came blasting out of the vegetation. Luckily I was armed with camera because it was gone before I knew it. The gate went up as an underground motor pulled it with a cable and pulley. Perhaps I wasn't as foolish for waiting as I had thought. |
