...Well, the many times I tried it didn't work out that way. I'd end up picking up some villagers wanting a ride and when I left the village I was too embarrassed to stop and take a picture of the exit sign. They'd think I was crazy and they'd be right! Anyway, these are the first riders I picked up. I saw a beautiful woman hold her hand out and I thought, "Why not?" I stopped and all of a sudden there was the woman plus her husband, daughter, and mother. They were very appreciative when I left them off in Sighet. I refused the money offered as I pulled out my camera and pointed to it. Even though they must've thought I was a bit strange, they went along with it. The darling little girl was all smiles, as well as her proud papa. Who could ask for a better payment!
