Finally I'm driving from the Henri Coandă International Airport to Bucharest. The airport was known as Otopeni Airport until May 2004, the time of my last trip to Romania. Of course I didn't know this and it caused me some confusion later. The process of getting my rental car from this non-computerized business was tortuous. At least the clerk didn't get mad at me like he did another customer. The poor guy was guilty of wanting to drop off  his car a day early without changing the bill and get a receipt.
