We walked in central Bucharest and found a street blocked off. For the entire length of the block it was dug up and an archaeological excavation was taking place. Apparently a very old piece of Bucharest was discovered. This is hard on the adjacent merchants, but how exciting! The old brick walls and arched doorways are beautiful.
