Braşov, 1 September

After visiting the First School we walked around while the old student still smarted from his painful lesson. Past this modern sports arena there are ancient walls and buildings up against the mountain that defines Braşov—Tâmpa. It not only defines it physically as the city lies at its base, it provides a place for a giant label to proclaim its name as if people would have a hard time knowing it. Like any label, my first inclination is to peel it off. Perhaps the trees might cover it someday and save me from that task. On my first trip to Romania, this arena was under construction and looked like this. I find the color scheme quite pleasing.
